From Tummy Time to Pre-Crawling

Mini Movers

A 4-Week Paediatric Physio-Led Program for Babies

Help your baby master tummy time, sit with confidence, and prepare for crawling while guided step-by-step by a Paediatric Physiotherapist.

Are you wondering if your baby’s motor skills are on track?

Does your baby fuss during tummy time, struggle with rolling or need extra support learning to sit independently?

Or are you simply looking for safe, evidence-based ways to encourage their physical development?

Our Mini Movers Physio Group is a supportive, hands-on 4-week course designed for babies who aren't yet crawling.

We meet your baby exactly where they're at, whether they are working on early tummy time or pushing up toward their hands and knees.

Frequently Asked Questions

Colorful Confetti Background

?

My baby can already do some of these things/isn't anywhere near some of these things yet, will we still get value out of every session?

Absolutely!

Because our group is led by a Paediatric Physiotherapist, every exercise and activity is designed with progressions and regressions to match your baby's exact stage.

Development isn't just about ticking off a milestone, it's about the quality of movement behind it:

  • If your baby can already roll: During our rolling week, we won't just practice rolling on a flat mat!

  • If your baby isn't near sitting or crawling yet: During our upright play week, we adapt the positions so your baby builds the foundational core strength, pelvic alignment, and shoulder stability they need.

No matter where your baby sits on the pre-crawling spectrum, you’ll walk away with targeted, hands-on strategies designed for their specific edge of development.

?

What if my baby cries, needs feeding, or sleeps during class?

That is 100% normal and expected. Our clinic environment is completely relaxed and baby-led. You can feed, change, or settle your baby at any point, and you will still take home all the handling skills and play setups to practice at home.

?

Can I claim this on Private Health Insurance?

Yes! Because classes are delivered by a Registered Physiotherapist, you may be eligible to claim rebates under Physiotherapy Group Therapy (Item Code 560) depending on your health fund and level of extras cover.

?

What should I bring?

Just your standard baby bag, a small baby blanket to lay over our clinic mats, and your usual baby carrier for Week 3.
